March 2012 Vancouver real estate sales

Sales are up slightly over February 2012 with the benchmark price of apartments on the east side of Vancouver up 1.4%, while on the west side of Vancouver prices are up 0.8%.  On the other hand, detached homes across the city are up 1.2% from last month.

first time home buying RRSp plan

First time Home buyers!  Have you thought about withdrawing money from your RRSP for a down payment?  It can be done!  I did it years ago, as without it, I would not have been able to get in at that time ( it was 1999, prices were considerable lower and interests rates were considerably HIGHER at 6%).  You have to pay it back and have a number of years to do that.
